Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional negotiation skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, and maintaining a high standard of quality for all products and services acquired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies: Formulate and execute strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, terms, and quality of goods and services.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations on contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions, focusing on cost reduction and value optimization.
- Purchase Order Management: Oversee the creation, approval, and tracking of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and accurate record-keeping.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock, optimizing storage and reducing carrying costs.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, emerging suppliers, and pricing fluctuations.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards throughout the procurement process.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the procurement budget, ensuring cost-effective spending and financial accountability.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement activities.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role, with a strong track record of successful negotiations and supplier management.

- Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
